The custom afghans below were graphed and/or designed specifically for children suffering from serious illnesses and traumas. Proceeds from the sale of patterns, kits and blankets go towards defraying the cost of blanket materials for our Corona, CA chapter of Project Linus. (Since January of 1998 we have donated over 5000 hand-made blankets to Loma Linda Children's Hospital in Loma Linda, CA, Thessolonika Family Services in Temecula, CA, Peppermint Ridge, Riverside Regional and Virginia's Home for Abused and Battered Women & Children!)

These afghans are all done in single crochet, following a graph and changing colors as you go along. They work up to be approx. 38" x 52". The afghans are easily enlarged because you work the character first, then add rows around the edges. No cross-stitch or embroidery necessary. Medium ability needed. Complete instructions included including changing colors.
